Roasted Asparagus

Roasted Asparagus

Updated January 22, 2026

Simple, high heat roasted asparagus seasoned with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Tender in center with lightly crisp tips and clean, green flavor that works with chicken, pasta, and Italian American mains.

Works as green counterbalance to rich mains like chicken alfredo, chicken parmesan, garlic butter dishes, and creamy pastas. Thin asparagus cooks faster. Check at 10 minutes to avoid over roasting.

For deeper color, roast on lowest rack. Lemon juice brightens. Parmesan boosts savoriness.
