Mashed Potatoes

Mashed Potatoes

Updated January 16, 2026

Ultra smooth mashed potatoes built from russets cooked gently in salted water, then combined with warm butter infused milk for deeper flavor and silkier texture. Steam drying, ricing, and staged dairy additions create consistency you normally only find in restaurants.

Pairs with roasted meats, poultry, braised dishes, and any holiday plate where the potato must be exceptionally smooth. Infused dairy is optional but provides deeper flavor without extra ingredients.

If potatoes seem too thick, add small amounts of warm milk until loose but still structured. Russet potatoes provide the fluffiest texture. Yukon Golds create a creamier, more golden result.
