Easy Gumdrop Nougat Squares

Easy Gumdrop Nougat Squares

Published October 13, 2026

A quick, no-thermometer nougat-style chew of marshmallow and white chocolate filled with chopped leftover gumdrops, set in the refrigerator.

This is a soft, nougat-style chew made without a candy thermometer, not a traditional cooked-sugar nougat. Toss the gumdrops in powdered sugar so they don't clump or bleed color.

Dust the knife with powdered sugar when cutting. Keeps 2 weeks refrigerated, layered between parchment. Work quickly once you add the powdered sugar; the mixture stiffens as it cools.
